Hibiscus sabdariffa seed oil

The Hibiscus oil is an active oil used in nutrition and cosmetic, which is characterized by a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega 6: linoleic acid C18:2 and gamma-linolenic acid C18:3. These two essential fatty acids for the skin are involved in membrane fluidity and promote the barrier function of the epidermis. These fatty acids contribute positively to reduce the skin trans epidermal water loss. Also rich in tocopherol anti-oxidants, Hibiscus oil protects cells from oxidative aging, making it an oil of choice for mature skin, anti-aging and moisturizing skin care products.
