Pomegranate seeds contain punicic acid (60%), an omega 5 polyunsaturated fatty acid with similar structure to linoleic acid. This very rare fatty acid is reputed for its very powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Very rich in tocopherols, pomegranate seed oil also contain phytosterols and vitamin E. This oil is recommended for reactive and mature skin. It can be formulated in all anti-age products.

MANUFACTURING
In a worm press, the healthy and cleaned seeds are pressed at first cold pressing, without any intervention of solvent or chemical. Then the oil is filtered successively on blotting paper. The oil is then stored away from light and heat.
